About the conference

We are pleased to announce the third edition of our Pan-Nordic conference on Environmental and Ethical Marketing claims which will take place on June 8th 2023. Last year’s conference was held in Copenhagen with great success and now we are excited to welcome you to another round that will take place in the centre of Oslo. 

Sustainability efforts and protection of the environment have trough the past years been top topics on the international agenda, and thus, also top topics for both national and regional law-makers. The legal landscape in Scandinavia is of no exception. A mixture of the duty to meet legal requirements, seeking positive publicity and, of course, the aim at securing the world for the next generations have strengthening enterprises efforts in aiming at a greener profile. 

This has naturally led to a major market for balancing and reducing climate impact. The work with reducing the climate impact does, however, not come for free. Therefore, while having good intentions of offering goods and services with less environmental and climate impact, companies face the challenge of how they can communicate such efforts to their clients and to the consumers. 

The aim at the conference is to present the Nordic legal framework, the do’s and don’ts when presenting sustainability claims in the marketing and give the participants tools to apply directly in their own business.  

Throughout the day, you will meet industry experts that will present and discuss relevant cases, current trends and their own work with green initiatives. You will also meet some of the most experienced Nordic marketing lawyers that will go through relevant legal topics.
